Spanish News December 2011

SPANISH CLASS NEWS

1^ST and 2^nd Graders:  We have had so much fun singing Fray Felipe in Spanish Class.  GRACIAS for your support with this project.  We will continue to practice singing this song, so you may continue to send in your INSTRUMENTOS.

3rd and 4^th Graders:  The 3^rd and 4^th grade students are doing very well.  We had a quiz on COLORES and everyone did MUY BIEN. 

5^th and 6^th Graders:  We are moving along nicely in 5^th and 6^th grades.  We had a test on COLORES and the students did a great job.  When we return from our Christmas Break we will have UN EXAMEN on colores, numeros, days of the week, function words, and greetings/farewell’s. 

7^th and 8^th Graders:  The 7^th and 8^th graders are doing a good job.  We continue to work on Parts of Speech, Telling of Time and Greetings/Farewell’s.  We started a new unit on LA FAMILIA. 

8^th Grade Project:

The 8^th graders will be working on a Spanish Culture project.  The students were assigned this project on November 30^th.  The students are expected to work on their research at home.  The students will also have time during Computer Class and Library Time to work on their projects.  Each student was given a set of guidelines for the project.
