Assumption School Mission Statement

Assumption School, founded by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is a private, Catholic school committed to providing academic excellence directed at forming the whole child; Cura Personalis.

In a family oriented environment, Assumption School is dedicated to the development of the intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual facets of each individual child by assisting their exploration using various classroom methods and techniques. Through a variety of community service projects, Assumption School students develop awareness and acceptance of others, strong leadership qualities, and the preparedness to become successful young men and women of the future.

“We are a family of believers and a family of achievers.”

Assumption School nurtures the spiritual growth of students through the example of faculty and staff, diverse prayer experiences, school liturgies, sacramental experiences, and daily religious studies. The Gospel message, studied in class and celebrated in worship, is put into practice through service to the community when opportunities may arise.

Our principal aim is to develop our students spiritually and academically. Assumption School faculty strives to develop each child's strengths and to address their limitations by providing various learning experiences. We strive to create a climate where children feel secure and protected.
